By default your Zoom cloud recordings are not downloadable by anyone other than the owner of the video. However, there may be times when you would like to make the video available offline whether it is to allow for users that require access when off a network or due to the Institute's Zoom Cloud Recording Retention Policy.
Before starting, please review and understand the FERPA considerations as related to recorded Zoom lectures
To make your cloud recording available for download you will need to log in to the Zoom portal at https://mghihp.zoom.us.
Navigate to the "Recordings" section using the menu on the left. Then click "Share" next to the video you would like to make downloadable.
On the pop up window move the slider next to "Viewers can download" so that it turns blue then click "Done".
Now that downloading has been enabled, the user will see the "Download" option in the upper right hand corner of the screen when viewing the recording.
