Overview

Occasionally a student may accidentally submit their quiz before finishing, or their time may expire and the system will auto-submit the attempt. In these cases, instructors can now reopen the student’s most recent attempt and allow them to continue working. The steps below outline how to locate the student’s submission and reopen the quiz attempt.

1.  Navigate to the Manage Quizzes page, click the drop down arrow for the menu next to the quiz and select Grade

2. Locate the student's attempt and select the attempt then click Reopen.

3. A pop-up window will appear. Enter the amount of extra time you are granting the student, and then click Reopen Attempt.
